Tenants come out top in prize draw

Derwentside Homes carries out a twice yearly prize draw, which is free to enter for all tenants who have a clear rent account.

We recently carried out the first draw of 2008/9, and pictured receiving their cheques from Director of Housing and Community Services Samantha Gibson are winners, Mrs Keegan, of Craghead, Stanley and Mrs  Broadhurst, of Hamsterley, Consett.

Samantha said: 'It's nice that we can reward some of our tenants this way, just for having a clear rent account and taking the time to enter the competition.'
