Putting learning first in the Community – Taster Sessions

Would you like to learn a new hobby or skill? You could learn how to Salsa or learn Spanish in time for your holidays or maybe you would like to brush up on your computer skills?
Durham County Council’s Adult & Community Learning can offer you a taster session in a wide range of courses from things like Tai Chi, Flower arranging or digital photography to basic and more advanced computing and skills for life.
All of the taster sessions can be provided to you for free of charge.
Signing up for a taster session will give you the chance to try something new in a friendly and relaxed environment at your local community centre and allow you to take the time to discover whether you would like to learn more. These free tasters are only available until the end of July but a new programme of Courses will also be coming out soon for courses starting in September.
For any further information on the range of courses available and for details of how to sign up to a course please contact Karen Morris on 01207 291431 or email k.morris@derwentsidehomes.co.uk
