Tenants invited to become members

Tenants and leaseholders are being invited to become an integral part of a growing success story in Derwentside. They have the chance to become a member of Derwentside Homes, giving them a real say in how the organisation is run in the future.

Members will each be able to vote on important matters facing their homes and housing service at Derwentside Homes’ Annual General Meeting and will be sent a copy of the organisation’s corporate accounts every year.

Anyone interested in becoming a member must:

· Be at least 18 years old
· Not be in debt to us or in breach of their conditions of tenancy
· Not be a member of staff of Derwentside Homes or be employed by a current contractor or consultant of the  organisation
· Not be a member of the family of a current Board member or employee of the organisation

Applicants will need to fill out a form, stating their name and address, reasons for wanting to become a member and details of their connection with Derwentside Homes.
