What happens if I disagree with the council’s decision?

Disagree with decision

If you disagree with the Council’s decision on your homeless application, then you have the right to ask for a review of that decision.

The council must give you its decision in writing and give you proper reasons that you can understand its reasoning. The written decision letter will also tell you that you have 21 days to ask for a review of the decision.

You will need to get help if you decide that you are going to ask for a review of the decision.
