Care Connect
Care Connect is a monitoring and response service offering support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The level of care is dependant upon individual needs, these can vary from use of a pull cord and pendant alert system to sensors which detect movement in the home.
Anyone who lives in County Durham is eligible for the service which is free to those in receipt of housing benefit, council tax benefit, guaranteed pension credit, income support, income based job seekers allowance. For those not in receipt of benefit there is a weekly charge which is dependent upon the level of care required.
