Changemakers Project
Derwentside Homes are currently working with the charity Changemakers to make a real difference to a young person.
Changemakers Organisational Development Programme offers a fantastic opportunity for a young person age 16-25 to work within our organisation for six months and lead on a project which will support us to engage with young people.
Katherine Gowland has been selected to be the Changemaker within Derwentside Homes. Katherine will lead on a project within the organisation to help engage more young people in having their say on our services, she will have full support from the Community Involvement Team to help her with the project.
Katherine has gone through an informal application process including an application form and assessment day. She will gain practical, hands on experience within the workplace as well as leadership skills from a 5 day residential and modules throughout the programme.
