New NEP Installation Framework

NE procurementNorth East Procurement (NEP) are a not-for-profit organisation providing procurement in the North East Social Housing sector, of which Derwentside Homes is a member.

They were established in 2007 and today their membership, consisting of 13 housing providers, manages in excess of 100,000 properties.

NEP are procuring an OJEU compliant Framework Agreement for the provision of planned maintenance and investment works to social housing properties. The available work will be broken down into packages, defined by work type with the aim of encouraging participation from a wide range of companies - from major national organisations to small SMEs based locally.

The works will include, but not be limited to the replacement and upgrade of the following lots:

  • Lot 1 – Kitchens
  • Lot 2 – Bathrooms
  • Lot 3 – Boilers and Heating Systems
  • Lot 4 – Electrical Works
  • Lot 5 – Windows and Doors Installation
  • Lot 6 – Whole House Internals

Please note: NEP has already established a number of frameworks for the materials. The purpose of this procurement process is to establish a framework of contractors who will work on an install only basis or a directed supply and install basis to complement the materials framework.

To apply to be on this framework, a copy of the PQQ can be found at https://tenders.e-marketplaces.co.uk and will be open for 30 days, or email nepplannedworks@valueworks.co.uk for more information.
