Gas safety
By law, as a landlord, Derwentside Homes is responsible for checking the
gas appliances, installations and flues in your home for safety at least once every 12 months. If we do not check your appliances, then we will be in breach of gas regulations and may be prosecuted.
Your tenancy agreement states that you must allow us access to do these checks. Failure to allow us access will be a breach of your tenancy agreement. By breaching your tenancy, you may put your home at risk.
Why it is important?
