If you smell gas you need to report it immediately to Transco on 0800 111 999 (Minicom/ Textphone 0800 371 787) if possible you should try and phone from outside your home as using a phone inside where there has been a gas leak could cause an explosion. You should turn off the gas supply at the mains and open all windows and doors to the property.
Remember – do not smoke, use naked flames or turn an appliance on or off.
