Services for Older People Service Standards
This service standard sets out the service that you can expect from services that Derwentside Homes deliver specifically for Older People.
For any requests for Major Adaptations to your home we will:
- Carry out an assessment of your needs with 2 weeks of a referral;
- Complete the work to your home within 6 months of the initial referral;
- Our work will always be completed to a high standard reflected in customer satisfaction ratings of above 9 out of 10.
For Customers who live in one of our Sheltered Courts, we will:
- Complete a care plan to agree your individual needs within 2 days of you moving into your new home;
- Carry out a review of your care plan every three months;
- Provide a 24hrs emergency alarm system.
- The Support Officer will check your emergency alarm and smoke alarms are working, every 3 months.
- Provide a good standard of accommodation, communal areas DDA compliant.
- Check communal emergency lighting and smoke alarms on a weekly basis, and other communal electric equipment - yearly.
