Derwentside Homes Limited is a fully approved contractor for the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC).
The NICEIC acts as the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body for electrical installation safety matters throughout the UK.
The NICEIC approved contractor scheme is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to EN 450011 – General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems.
As an approved contractor Derwentside Homes are subject to periodic assessments from the NICEIC to confirm we need to comply with their Rules of Environment. These include annual checks on qualified supervisors, standards of electrical work, checks on test instruments, test certification and all aspects of electrical work carried out by Derwentside Homes.
