Your tenancy agreement is a very important legal document and it should be kept in a safe place. It not only details your responsibilities as a tenant, but also Derwentside Homes’ as your landlord.
Where the tenancy agreement is in joint names, all tenants are responsible for all parts of the tenancy agreement. This means that if one tenant breaks any of the tenancy conditions, for example not paying the rent, then action will be taken against all the tenants whose names appear on the agreement.
The Tenant’s Handbook is a guide to being a tenant and gives information about Derwentside Homes and the services provided. If you have any questions about your tenancy agreement please contact us on Tel: 08458 505 600.
