We may be able to provide equipment or adaptations to help you stay in your home if you have problems with day-to-day activities because of your:

- Disability
- Age
- Medical condition
There are three categories of help available:
- Minor work (grab rails, handrails etc)
- Major work (stair lifts, showers etc)
- Equipment (bath seats, walking aids etc)
How to apply
You can apply for an assessment for equipment in the following ways:
- Through social services by phoning 08458 505010
- By speaking to your health service professional (for example, a district nurse or physiotherapist)
- For minor work, by contacting our aids and adaptations section on 08458 505600.
